Real Photo Postcard RPPC.
A few days ago, we listed 2 postcards showing a street view of a town near Youngstown, Ohio. The photographer was from Youngstown, so we identified it as from there or nearby. Someone contacted us and let us know these photographs show Farrell, Pennsylvania a town about 20 miles from Youngstown. We found a few more postcards from Farrell and are listing them today. See our other auctions for one more, showing a fair/picnic event.
These 2 postcards show the C.M Kester Undertaker & next door Funeral Director (One sign looks like Kesyer, don't know why). There are 2 ladies standing in front, probably family members working there. The young lady on the left is very pretty. The second view shows a group of children hanging out front of the store next door. It's boarded up, and was once the Harold New Agency. We were told that the owner had gotten into trouble for running a gambling
business
.  Circa 1910.
Condition: Both are in good condition, but one is a bit light, probably due do the cold dark snowy day when it was taken. Please see our large scans for an accurate representation of the item.

Someone sent us this information. We had no idea. When we looked up the location, we see Farrell and Youngstown are only about 20 miles apart.
This would be in Farrell, Mercer PA. C.M.Kester's funeral parlor was located at 516 Idaho St there. Those buildings have since been torn down.
