It can be used to provided heading data for other navigation equipment such as Autopilot, Radar GPS Chart Plotter etc. KA-GC9A provides Electronic heading data output and GPS data output in the format of NMEA0183, that makes it possible to be used on existing Equipment even with a different brand.
