Your 6.5" Speaker must have an inside mounting diameter of 5" That is what about 95% of ALL 6.5" speakers have.

The below is a message we received from an ebay member stating his experience
with the chinese copy of our original design.
"Received your speaker adapters after buying your competitors adapters for my 2011 Ultra Classic. He had a detailed list of how well they fit with pictures and a higher cost than yours. I purchased his adapters, and when they arrived, they could have fit my lawnmower as well as they fit my Ultra. My mistake and have returned his to Lakeland, Fl. at my expense. Only time will tell if I get a refund. Your competitor is a mail order post office box. Harley owners looking for a correct fit adapter for their lower fairings to accommodate 6.5 speakers, need only to order yours and save time, money, and aggravation. Feel free to share my comments. 1950jim"
Our adapters now come with a rubber surround to ensure a tight, weatherproof seal.
The seal also keeps vibrations and sound from escaping through mounting surfaces.
Their screw guided holes will not work properly, that design will also significantly limit you on your choices of speakers, our design allows you to mount almost any 6.50" (6 1/2") speaker.  Look close at the photos they have provided.  (The picture of the maroon HD is my personal bike, they used it as an example.  Now look at the orange bike they have as an example.. it is not a harley davidson and not only that, they are installed crooked..) You will see that their copy doesn't line up on the outside edge of the fairing their part will be touching your fuel tank once installed, it is a physical impossibility to install a 6.5" speaker onto their pods then have them fit on your lower fairing
We have sold hundreds of these and racked up thousands of miles with them on our own bikes.  They are made of 1/8" thick abs and come with a rubber surround that makes them air tight and they are incredibly strong, will not crack, warp or bend.. period, as a matter of fact, we stand behind our parts with a lifetime warranty, regardless of what happens to them, they do not crack, they do not warp!

They fit All Harley Lower Fairings from 1997-2014
Look at all our photos.  Some Road Glides have different glove boxes.
In contrast to other speaker pods out there, you will notice that other sellers pods have a "recessed" area on theirs where the grill has to "set" into.  Their designs will significantly limit what size speaker grill will fit inside that area they allowed, that is why ours has no recessed area.  Speaker grills are VERY rarely, if at all, the same overall diameter.  Ours will allow for almost any speaker and grill for a 6 1/2" speaker.

In order to make sure your speakers will fit, google the specifications of your speakers or look at the box.  They will have a specification called "mounting diameter" if it is larger than 5" these adapters will not work without modification. With some sanding of the inside hole of the adapter you can use a speaker with a 5 1/8" mounting diameter. Kicker, rockford fosgate, Alpine, kenwood, pioneer, jvc, clarion, panasonic and the list goes on.. all these manufacturers have a speaker that will work on these adapter and fit right in with no modifications whatsoever.
Cheap marine speakers like BOSS or PYRAMID have a large grill that will hang over the adapter face and look bad, don't buy them.
They will come with VERY detailed instructions and mounting hardware to get the job done quickly and get you on the Road!
Made of textured ABS plastic, 1/8th inch thick and very strong!
You can install these pods with common tools, photograph instructions are included!
