GRATEFUL DEAD 1989 SUMMER TOUR !!!!!  Just simply ' Massive ' ... Yes indeed.  What a Tour ! & what a Huge !! Live-Comeback by the Good Ol' Grateful Dead !!!  Hey, our beloved Grateful Dead never went anywhere in the Early-80's - but by the size of the small, and even tiny venues they were able to play - you would almost wonder if they had disappeared just a bit -- or at least fell out of " Popular-Rock " favor??  Then ... along comes '87, '88, and-then '89-'90 !!! and all of a sudden it's just like a like a ferocious & unstoppable Train-A-Runnin' Down the Track !!!  To many Dead Fans ( believe it or not -- or, are you one too ?! ) 1989-1990 were two of the Band's Best ! Years - or maybe even ... " The " Best !!?  Even Bobby Weir himself has publicly claimed that he thought the Grateful Dead were really " Hot ! " in '89-90.  As Ace also groups that in giving proper props to the " Early-70's " and " Late '70's " too. But you've just gotta love Bobby ... what a claim !!  And, I must admit that I am personally wholeheartedly right on board with him here.  Weir is right.  The simple fact is, '80's Dead has sheer-Muscle !!!  In other words ... A) rule of thumb : " When Phil's On, the Band's On " -- B) Ace Your Face - " Eighty's Style ! " - ain't nothing like it. -- C) GARCIA!!! ( + Boss equipment ) = MEAN !!! & Nasty !! Grateful Dead that can burst Power Mac Amps with Grace & Passion ! -- D) The 2-Headed Monster(s) just Love-It when Garcia's " On ! " -- E) BRENT !!!!!!! ( enough said ... Wow !!?! ).  So, in a nutshell - this '89 Summer Tour T-Shirt to be a Seriously-Symbolic piece of True Rock 'n Roll History.  Basically, it's a Grateful Dead & Rock & Roll Treasure! - and the significance is near unmatched.  Let's put it like this ....... other than the Stones who's out there still playing in some quality form past their " 50th Year " ?!?!? -- and what band out there hits their arguable " Prime " in their 24th & 25th Years playing together ?!?  You guessed in Fans ... Our Beloved Grateful Dead !!!  This Absolutely-Beautiful ! Vintage-Original Tour Shirt even features an Amazing ! ( Tony Reonegro design !) As this is a vintage collectible shirt, here are the only issues that stand out to my eye upon close inspection :
