Grateful Dead Shirt : Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) : 1989 : Fall Tour '89 ! Grateful Dead & even... The ' Grateful Dead ! ' as The " Warlocks !!! " - Hampton, VA !!! : 13-Point Lightning Bolt " Tree of Life ! " Tim Harris '89 Tour Laminate Style Design ! : 1989 Grateful Dead Merchandising, Inc. ( '89 GDM, Inc. ) : X Large ( XL ) : Brand New ! : Very-Rare !!!!!Grateful Dead Fans !!! ... so here we are 30-Years ! later now - and this Absolutely-Stunning Beauty ! of a Grateful Dead '89 Fall Tour Shirt is just as Magical ! as ever. Wow ... Without any question of of the most Important ! & Symbolic !! Grateful Dead Shirts - in all of Grateful Dead History ... and especially for the Good Ol' Grateful Dead in the '80's - with in this case ... even the " Warlocks " too!!! Offered here indeed is " The ! " 1989 Fall Tour Grateful Dead Shirt featuring the Tim Harris designed 13-Point Lightning Bolt Leaf " Tree of Life " ! And ... this Beauty ! of a G.D. Tee is still ! Brand New !!! Collected-only, and preserved with perfection - for 25-Years ... Whoa ! - a full Quarter of a Century !?! Time ... it does sure fly ! And, it is really only fitting that this T-Shirt is in the Jerry Garcia preferred color " Black " because as you & me both know ... The Grateful Dead were on a relentless " Prime ! " during this 1989-90 Era - and probably even more specifically during Fall Tour '89 !! Garcia was on Complete-Fire ! during this whole Tour from a standpoint of fret-board perfection, vocal-delivery, and raw & bulls eye-channeled Energy ! And so was the whole rest of the Band, as every member's energy was infectious to each other ! Setlists don't always do the talking - but they do with this Magical ! Fall Tour 1989 run of Dead Shows -- Help > Slip > Franklin's ! - Attics of My Life ! - Death Don't Have No Mercy ! - We Bid You Goodnight ! - And Dark Star !!! Wow ... I personally believe this Amazing G.D. Shirt ! to be the Ultimate !! symbol of this Magical ! G.D. Era, and the sheer live magic that flowed during it. A period of true Renaissance ! for the Good Ol' Grateful Dead ... and even the Warlocks ! too. What a design - the 13-Point Lightning Bolt Leaf " Tree Of Life " ! In addition to this Shirt, there was also another one manufactured by GDM for the Summer Tour '89 in the color of Green -- so you might want to pick that one up too, if you can find it. But, as far as Fall Tour '89 goes - this Rock & Roll Black ! Tee was indeed the color. I believe these were the only two shirts ever-made of this exact style ? Featuring the wonderful Tim Harris designed artwork, in all of its magical glory. Quite similar to the Tour Laminates of both of these '89 Tours. A sure G.D. Treasure here, and arguably too ... one of the Coolest ! Grateful Dead Shirts of All-Time !!! -- Enjoy !!!!!!!
