my Grateful Dead Shirt !!!?!!!  Now fellow fans out there, is this a serious! G.D. Tee, of what?   Should we just call it " Shakedown Street " !?!!  Because all of those who are in the ' know ' - know exactly what went down during that Epic ! " Shakedown " Show Opener on this Amazing New Year's Eve Night ... 12/31/84 !!!!!  Me personally ?  I love & live-for my '84-'85 G.D., and how incredibly special is this Shirt ?  Wedged right smack-dab in between !!!  Holy Jerry Garcia !!!!!  Three-Cheers for that Boss HM-2, right ?  Yes !!!  But as we all well know - any piece of equipment can only take so much credit ... so let's give 90% of that credit to Jerry !  This Era is pretty much a non-stop clinic on how to play a Guitar the right way - at least to my humble Dead Fans ears.  Complete command, with insane-agility, passion & power.  So much excitement is delivered in this era, and so many chances are taken ... just like Garcia once said himself - " Louder is Better ..." !!!  It's the ' Brent-Era ', and there is nothing quite-like-it.  Real-Magic ! being made Live !! and the little-rough-around-the-edges is very welcomed - hey, it's ok.  when I'm at a Show, I'd rather see a Band lay it all out, than go through the motions in a security-blanket.  This era takes some heat for the ' slop ', no doubt - and rightfully so, or so I suppose.  But listen to the ' Right-Night ' when it's an All Cylinders Go ! - and it is On !!!  So yes, this is my cry-out for more pro-releases from that Stellar '81 to '86 period -- and of course, '89-'90 too !  But, Thankfully - we've been treated pretty kindly there, as of late.  Let's just release 12/31/84 pro !  And next ... hmmm, how's about 6/30/85 !!?!  Ok, I'm getting off track, just a hair ... but, the point being - this is the ' Official ' GDP Grateful Dead " 1984-85 New Years Eve " Shirt we are talking about here - and to some it is just priceless.  Wow !?! ... a Skeleton-Hand holding a Bubbly Glass of Champagne, with Confetti & Ribbons flowing ! - reading so gracefully : " New Year 1984-85 'Friends Through The Ages " !!!  Grate-Shape ! too ...  Definitely one for the serious Dead Fans, Collectors, and of course - All Ye' Fellow-Fans of Early/Mid-'80's G.D. --- 1984-85 New Years Eve !!!!!  This one my fellow Fans, it completely-speaks for itself.  Enjoy !!!!!!!  And if you are going to wear it - hopefully-so ? ... well, just please make sure to play the Epic ! 12/31/84 Shakedown when you put it on -- Show the Love !!!  Nothing-short, of " Legendary " . . .  Enjoy !!!!!
