Vintage Grateful Dead " Skull & Crossbones " Pin ( Pinback / Badge ) - featuring the Legendary ! Rick Griffin Early 1980's G.D. design !!  This pin was originally made & issued in 1984 - and was available for purchase inside the Venues at Grateful Dead Tour Shows ! ... in the Mid-1980's !!  This Pin is Medium in Size ( sized-nicely ! for use ) - and measures in at approximately 3/4" x 1 1/8" (please see photos).  An over 35-year old item, from Grateful Dead yesteryear ! - created - issued & sold right in the middle of the 1980's Grateful Dead " Brent " Era ! (1979 - 1990).  Made of a firm metal - and sturdy enamel like like material - this Vintage G.D. Pin has a  Very-Stylish ! Vintage Look ! & Feel !!  Some light surface wear & some light tarnishing patina from use - and natural aging (please see photos).  Check out the photos photos provided to see how cool this Pin looks when light hits it !!  ' The ! Item Condition
:  This Grateful Dead / Rick Griffin 1984 Vintage Pin is in Like New ( Excellent ) condition, with consideration to its age.
It has been " Collected-Only ! " ( pinned to a protective piece of soft canvas - with other Pins, in a Collection ), and has never been ' worn ' used - only displayed & stored safely for decades.
Pin has some very-light surface wear, and some light aging patina (
oxidation / tarnishing )
on the backside base/post/clasp.  The pin/pinback placement is somewhat off-centered, which was a commonality in the manufacturing of many of these 1984 GD/Griffin " Skull & Crossbones " rectangle Pins.  Please see the photos provided to view the ' actual ' condition of this vintage original over 35-year old item.  Please see all photos provided.  Photos included are of the actual item you will receive.  The '84 Grateful Dead " Skull & Crossbones ! :  The Pin Post placements of these GD/Griffin " Skull & Crossbones " Rectangular Pins varied greatly from the Early 1980's type manufacturing process in which they were made.  The post placement on this particular pin is off-centered - located towards the ' middle/right-side ' area of the pin back - as shown in the backside photo provided (please see photos/photo #12).
