Description
A Beautiful Dresden Germany Centerpiece Bowl For Your Consideration. Carl Thieme's exquisite work, his use of Rococco style is reflected in the white and gold porcelain, the use of flowers as embellishment. and the bottom of the bowl is shaped to resemble a shell. He had painted for Meissen, and then opened his own factory.The bowl is white with painted flowers on the inner bowl, four cherubs / putti are holding the bowl and serve as its base. Note the precious faces and the delicate wings of the cherubs, and flowers that 'bloom' from the sides of the bowl. It is approximately 12 inches in length, 10 inches wide and 6 inches tall. It has no chips or cracks, very light surface wear inside the bowl if any. For condition, please see the remarks above and also examine the pictures, as they speak for the condition. White spots are reflection from the overhead light. This gorgeous piece will be carefully packaged and double boxed to get to you safely.
