Measuring Versalitity in 4 Ways
External Diameter
Measuring outer diameter or length of objects with the long jaws. It can be measured quickly and accurately by stuck the object between two parallel sides of big Jaws and holding it in place by set screw.
Internal Diameter
It can measure the inner diameter of objects by the top jaws of digital caliper,such as for a bearing or the inside width of a shaft.
Depth
It can measure the depth of objects by the long probe of digital caliper. Even the depth of objects which is difficult to reach.
Step
It can measure the length and height with its special design,from one surface to the next, by using the bottom back edge of the external measuring jaw and the top back edge of the internal measuring jaw.
NOTE: You will find some scratches on the screen of the caliper when you receive it, please be assured that it was not the used item. A thin plastic film is attached to the surface of the screen to prevent damage, that's why it looked scratched. Once the film removed, all was perfect!
CHANGE THE BATTERY FROM THE BACK
To replace the battery, please turn the caliper over so that the LCD Display is facing down, the slider clamp screw is facing toward you(down) and the thumb roller up.
Using the provided mini screwdriver, remove the screw on the same side as the slider clamp screw( Do not to lose the screw since it's so small).
Once the screw is removed, the battery cover on the oppsite side will come loose and the battery will easily come out, then replace the new battery.
Replace cover and hold it in place, re-insert the screw and tighten.
