    Description

    This antique advertising/calendar plate was made in East Liverpool, Ohio by the Dresden China Company.  It measures approximately 8 ½” in diameter and features Betsy Ross making the first American flag.  Displayed around the border of the plate are the 1910 calendar months.  The central image features Betsy Ross and the words, “Betsy Ross Making the First American Flag”.  Below this image is the advertisement, “Compliments of Woodworth Drug Co., Albany, Oregon”.  This vintage plate is in good condition with the exception of a tiny crack along the rim, overall crazing, wear to the gold trim and some discoloration.
