Description
An attractive registered first day cover for Australia Antarctic Territory Scott #L1-L3 and #L5, the four stamps issued in 1959. All are tied to the cover by Philatelic Bureau Melbourne, Vic, Aust First Day of Issue postmarks dated December 16, 1959. On the reverse is the same postmark along with a Registered Melbourne postmark dated December 16, 1959. Also on the reverse is a vertical pair of United States Scott #OX39, the "Officially Sealed" stamp from the 1950's. The pair is tied to the cover by Hartford, Conn. postmarks dated January 21, 1960. There is a Granby, Conn. postmark dated January 21, 1960. This cover measures 164mm x 93mm. See scans for condition.Please read shipping information below for
